By the end of the PhD, all NWSSDTP-funded students are expected to have an understanding of the full life cycle of the research process; from the initial idea for a research question, through the development of a research proposal that may attract funding, to the archiving of data and, where appropriate, the completion of end-of-award reports to research sponsors.
