NWSSDTP students have access to a Research Training Support Grant (RTSG), which can be used for a range of research related expenses including conference attendance, research training courses, transcription and the purchase of books or other key resources. 

There is not an individual allowance per student, but rather a central fund to which all NWSSDTP-funded students (including those on masters programmes) can apply for support.

Deadlines

There are two deadlines per month for RTSG Claims to be submitted. These are the 15th and 28th of the month, or the next working day when the deadline falls on a weekend.
