Methods North West is funded by the NWSSDTP and provides interdisciplinary and innovative methodological training for researchers across the North West.

The initiative highlights the depth and breadth of the North West’s methodological expertise in the social sciences, bringing together training initiatives from all five of the NWSSDTP institutions:

Methods North West also commissions a series of methodological training sessions, aimed primarily at doctoral students, throughout the year. These consist of our regular term-time Thursday lunchtime online Methods Sessions, more detailed Methods Labs, and in-depth methodological training courses funded through the Methods North West Catalyst Grants.
